Snow Day

On Thursday Trenton and Brynn were released from school early due to inclement weather. They were so excited to be home early and watch the snow fall. It snowed throughout the day and into the night. Thursday evening we went out and had a snow ball fight and played around until dinner was ready. We assured them the snow would be there the next day. The next morning I checked on the schools and sure enough all the schools in our county were closed so the kids had an official "snow day." We have lots of gullies running behind the houses in our neighborhood and that is where Trent and his friends like to go because all the water has froze and they love to play on the ice. I wasn't about to run after a bunch of wild boys to try to get pictures of Trenton but I did get plenty of the other 3. Brynn and Payton especially loved the snow. It still hasn't melted since it has only been a high of 25 for the past few days. So first thing Brynn bundles her self up and then she starts working on Payton and out they go to play with the snow. I am glad they enjoy it since next year we should get a lot more snow then we do here in Dahlonega. Here are so pictures of my little ones playing the day away in the snow.
