Everyone loves getting something in the mail, even little ones. My mom and dad don't ever go too long without sending out a card or box of goodies, something I love and aspire to get better at doing myself. One rainy day a fun box full of books arrived. They like nothing better but to get that box open and pull everything out.
Cohen found the goods and we got right to work making magic mixtures.
So far we have created our own play dough and paint in the color green to celebrate the month of March. Cohen is not much into paint (never has been) so he stuck with the play dough.
Payton had a blast rolling, cutting, and painting. I tried to help her paint shamrocks but that girl just wants to paint away with NO help.
She must have sat at the table for an hour and half at least going from paint to play dough and then back to paint. I am playing with the idea of paper
mache, not sure if that is a project I want to start?! Although, I'm sure they would love to get in on some more mess making fun.
